How it works
You run the code, not just read it.
Academy is built around a real workspace. The examples in a lesson are editable and executable, and the result comes back from an isolated sandbox on our infrastructure — the same output you would get on your own machine, including the errors.

01
Read the idea
Every lesson explains the concept in plain prose, with an original diagram beside the part that is hard to picture — not a wall of syntax.
02
Run the example
The worked example is not a screenshot. It is a live editor with the code already in it: change a value, press Run, and see what actually happens.
03
Predict, then check
Each lesson ends by asking you to predict an output before you run it. Being wrong on purpose is the fastest way to find what you had not understood.
This is the workspace
It sits inside the lesson, underneath the example it belongs to. Nothing to install and nothing to configure — it runs in the browser, against a sandbox that is isolated from everything else we run.
- Edit any example and re-run it as many times as you like.
- Real errors, not sanitised ones — the failures are part of the lesson.
- Python and SQL both execute for real.
- Where a subject genuinely cannot be run, the course is built as a reference instead and says so on its own page.
